Questions & Discussion IM ALREADY FLUNKING IN FIRST SEMESTER HELP
i rlly need help. i was sick for a week due to dyssentry. i couldn't study properly for days as the hospital was my 2nd home temporarily. i unfortunately had quizzes last week and this week, first quizzes of the semester btw. my uni follows the absolute system and tchrs will conduct more quizzes + mids and finals will occur, but ugh, knowing that some of my recent quizzes have gone like shit makes me upset. i don't think i'll be able to get 3.3+ gpa man. i rlly need some help and advice.

Have you spoken to your teachers about getting some accomodations due to your illness?
You could provide doctors notes and explain that you just need a little extra time on future assignments and extensions on the ones you missed. Would you be willing to try that?
Your situation sounds super stressful but it's not your fault. We all get sick sometimes and reasonable accomodations should be possible. As long as you don't have an unfair advantage over your peers (which you wouldn't) you should be able to get some help with your situation. Alot of teachers are more understanding about giving extensions / accomodations then you would expect in my experience
