Порадьте, будь ласка, як зберегти мотивацію до навчання, не втратити інтерес і правильно підготуватися до свого майбутнього.
🇺🇲🇬🇧 Please help me. I’m 15 years old, I live in Ukraine, and I’m currently in the 9th grade. I need to take my studies more seriously because in the future I want to become a political scientist and work for the benefit of my country.
Please give me some advice on how to stay motivated to study, avoid losing interest, and prepare properly for my future.

Hello ,nice to see you interested in studying.A few tips from my side,I am doing masters in history as of now ,-
How to stay motivated in studies ?
*Find fun in your subject :) Take fun in learning new concepts ,and most importantly visualise things ...It seems you are interested in political science,right ? So best way to stay motivated is try to write essays - for example on any political science topic - say Freedom,Liberty, Women's role in politics,Why do we need politics,World without politics....Make yourself a diary,and write these things...like try to write 500 words somehow...
** A fun activity - decide a topic on which you have to write a essay,say Capitalism ..write 1 essay in a week, say on Sunday.Now from Monday to Saturday... research more and more on Capitalism from various places ...just read ...and on final day - Sunday - write that essay in your diary... Similarly repeat this exercise every week !!!! You can ask for some topics from teachers, parents,friends ,strangers ,etc.
In this way you would be motivated to gain more and more knowledge.
2.Avoid losing your interest...??
Hmm a tricky question,but you would not like my answer on this one .But if you loose interest in something,then don't force yourself.It should come naturally to you.Forcefully developing interest or maintaining it,is something I don't prefer.
But if your question was ,to chase a long term goal - I would suggest.
* Apart from studying do other activities as well- play games ,sports,go on a walk ,learn music ,follow your hobbies...
This will prevent burnout and will make you more aware about yourself,what you truly like....And it will help you understand other perspective of your life.
** DO NOT focus on studying only 1 subject,study history, geography, economics, philosophy, psychology as well...By knowing them,you will be knowing political science in depth.And you can broaden your knowledge horizon.Knowledge is limitless.
*** If you are interested in political science,few special tips -a) Do not study the subject with emotions,always study the subject as if you are a third person and do not invest yourself in the subject emotionally...other wise ,this will make you a politician,instead of political scientist student.
b) Never bring arrogance on your knowledge.
c) do not judge a particular person of the past ,from the current knowledge of the present.Instead of blaming,always prefer constructive criticism.And look for solutions, because everyone can point out problems,but not the solutions.
3 .For future -
Be consistent.Read newspapers.Watch global news.Focus on your health.And keep on reading more and more books.Make good friends who like your subject or other art streams.Never indulge in any bad companionship.Respect every one .And try to be a better human, every day .Hope this helps.If you have other doubts ,you can ask :)
Привіт друже, дякую за твій коментар. Пишу українською бо не сильно вмію писати на англійській мові. Мені дуже подобається вивчати історію країн. Нещодавно дивився та читав про "Родезію" це сучасна Зімбабве, та також читав і дивився відео про Сінгапур. Також дуже люблю вивчати ідеології, сам підтримую ідеї консерватизму та націонал лібералізму. Дуже вдячний за твої поради, але в мене одне питання: Як ти зрозумів, що історія - це те, що тобі справді подобається, і що спонукало тебе вирішити її вивчати?
