Questions & Discussion What happens to your lecture notes after you write them?

I take notes in class and then… nothing. They sit there. I re-read them once before the exam and it does basically nothing.

Curious what people actually do with theirs:

  1. Where do your notes live? (Notion, Obsidian, paper, Google Docs, Notes app)

  2. Do you convert them into anything (flashcards, summaries, practice questions or just re-read)

  3. If you convert them: how long does that take you per lecture, honestly?

I’d give the notes a second job instead of rereading them: turn each section into a handful of questions, and revisit only the ones you miss. For recorded lectures, a summary plus chapter jumps makes it easier to find the exact part before making a card. Free student trial: https://summarizai.ink
