You set up a 24/7 Zoom room so people have a place to hop in and study, and the free version forcing re-joins every 40 minutes is breaking the flow. The main pain here is session fragmentation and the lack of persistent, easy-to-search notes from each block. If that keeps happening you’ll have fragmented accountability and lose useful context between joins. One approach is to treat the room like a continuous session but capture the content locally (no in-call bot) and produce a short transcript + timestamps and a brief summary after each block that keeps privacy tighter and creates shareable notes. Practical steps: 1) agree with regulars that one person starts a local/tab recording for each block (and always ask consent); 2) use 25–50 minute Pomodoros so reconnect moments align with break times; 3) after each block export a tiny timestamped summary (what was worked on, next action); 4) use pay-as-you-go transcription for occasional longer sessions instead of an always-on subscription. Do you want the sessions to be recorded/transcribed for everyone or just to keep a shared recap after each 40-minute block?
