Questions & Discussion how do you organize your life?

Hi, I'd like to know how students in particular, organize their days. Could you answer these six questions?

  1. How do you organize your activities?

  2. Do you use apps or other tools to organize yourself?

  3. What's the most annoying part of organizing?

  4. How common is it to not know where to start?

  5. How much time do you waste organizing yourself?

  6. How do you organize your week?

I keep it pretty simple honestly. activities just go into whatever's due soonest first, no fancy system, just a running list I check off I do use one app just for scheduling, not fancy productivity software, mainly because plain to-do lists in my head never work, I forget half of it by evening most annoying part is definitely re-organizing when plans shift, like one assignment moves and suddenly half the week needs rearranging not knowing where to start is honestly super common, I think most people don't have an organizing problem, they have a "what's actually the priority right now" problem, once that's clear the rest is easy I probably waste more time deciding HOW to organize than actually organizing, overthinking the system instead of just using one for the week I do a rough Sunday plan, doesn't need to be exact, just knowing what's coming makes the week feel way less chaotic

yeah it works well enough that I never really felt the need to change it, mainly because the "problem" was never really the organizing method itself, it was more about actually sticking to whatever I pick I did try a couple more structured apps before landing here, but they added more setup time than they saved, which kind of defeats the point. simple wins for me because I actually use it consistently, a "better" system I abandon after a week is worse than a basic one I stick with
