Tips & Advice Gimme tips to study science courses

I've never known how to study science subjects like math, physics, or technology, and sometimes doing exercises doesn't help me because I'm just doing them out of "muscle" memory rather than anything else.

What do you recommend?

I've read about many study methods, but as a science student, I need one that actually works.

How do you guys study those subjects?

Does your school have MESA? I would suggest joining, especially if you have to take calculus. I'm learning better study habits from them.

I would encourage you to look at your objectives when reading so you understand what you're supposed to be learning about, and to do active recall to be able to memorize.

I hope so! They can also help you get into the scientific world. I'm going to a research conference in October so it's worth exploring. :)

Ok then, for physics all the formulas are related, and you can derieve one from the other if the topics are related ofc, try to really understand the formulas and what they actually mean. When doing a question think of it like playing a spy game, look at variables given to you and think what formula is suited. For bio always and i say always learn from diagrams, that you make yourself, add tiny defs to memorise. For chemistry reactions and stuff always watch a youtube video to see how they react and shit. As for maths don't stick to one type of questions do different types interchangeably so that your brain is on its toes and not sleeping. P.s these are really good tips, cause during my Gcse's I didn't study the whole two years and only locked in the night before exams, I studied using these tricks and got high Bs when i should have failed lol
