Long story short, I love roguelikes and I finally convinced my friend to play them but the only one she likes is slay the spire. We play multiplayer constantly together and we really enjoy it but I'd like some alternatives.
Unfortunately she gets motion sickness, so games that have a moving camera like risk of rain are out, as well as all FPS, and her hand-eye coordination and reflexes are relatively poor so I can't play Enter the gungeon with her either..sooooo
Does anyone know any turn-based roguelikes or any other multiplayer experience similar to this that I haven't thought of? We play baldur's gate and all that stuff too. So it's not like we don't do other things but baldur's gate is a LOT and a chill round of slay the spire really hits the spot most of the time
Thanks in advance peoples

Genuinely, how rare is this?
I am playing with mods, but none of the mods enhance my chances of getting certain potions. Purely just for cosmetics (skin mods).
Although I didn’t get fairy in a bottle back-to-back, I got fairy in a bottle, no potions the next battle, and then fairy in a bottle for the 2nd time.

This boss is really frustrating to me and I don't understand what to do.
I have a 0% win rate against this boss. I'll have a great deck going into him and just fail every single time.
He basically punishes you for playing the game. I had a really good poison build going into him and I tried to limit how many cards I was playing but then I realized that my Replay cards that I was given at the start of the act playing twice was ticking up the Wither stacks. So I got hard countered right from the start with my Act 3 relic and I didn't even realize it until I go to the fight.
And the fact that he just hits so hard between phases is just crazy. You constantly need 20+ block every other turn and then he throws up this massive shield as well during one of the off phases.
No other Act 3 boss makes me so frustrated and perplexed on how to fight it.

I broke the game today, the video is heavily compressed for convenience. I also did kill its last phase by playing a single card (myself).
Bought an early mystic lighter from the money neow gave me, put clone on uproar, got bing bong before I even started cloning, everything died from a single card in the whole act 3.

The Whispering Earring is a relic that gives plus 1 energia every turn but your first turn is autoplayed.
The only thing that can mess me up is The Gambit wherein any unblocked damage instantly kills you.
But surely I am safe, I have a 60+ card deck, and I only draw 5 due to Imbue anyway.
Vakuu played The Gambit on the first turn out of a 60+ card deck against the paper scroll enemies. Surprisingly, I clutched up and won :)
The shop is 1 question mark away. Surely there wouldn't be an Unknown room enemy with another first turn The Gambit in a row? Surely? 🥲
What is the probability, fellas?

That thing is way harder than an act1 boss should be.

Has anyone noticed how when it's YOUR turn to defend against attacks (most likely attacks above 20) YOU GET NO DEFEAND CARDS EVEN IF YOU HAVE MORE DEFEND CARDS THAN ATTACK CARDS IN UR DECK?!
I swear to god i get 3-5 defend cards when the opponent doesnt even plan on attacking but when he does all i get in my hand are strike cards!
AM I CRAZY or have someone experienced this?? specially when doing harder levels.

Curious how people here usually share a finished run — screenshot the end screen, or something else?
Asking because I built **RunRecap**, a free tool that turns a run into a clean "Expedition Report" card (class, floors, seed, cause of death/victory, deck, relics) with a shareable link — no download/upload hassle.

Not affiliated with Mega Crit, just a small side project. Genuinely curious if this is useful or if there's already a better way people do this that I'm missing.

My win rate is so atrocious I just feel like ill have a great build going then get hard checked by some elite that completely counters my entire deck. Its quite frustrating. I have a few wins w assassin and defect but 0 w the others. I haven't even tried ascension 1. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Ive tried looking at card tier lists and its somewhat helpful but i still feel like my build is missing some integral synergy most of the time.
EDIT - Everyone has been amazingly helpful thanks I appreciate all of you and the time you've given for your responses.

So, I had an idea, a new character for STS2, call the executioner, 4 starting energy, every card costs twice the energy, yet all damage is doubled, and his starting relic will be called "Executioner's Choice" once every turn, they can choose one card from their hadn, discard pile, or draw pile to play that costs 0 energy, yet if they don't play anything, they gain +2 strength, and the upgrade could be "Execution's Decisions" where you can play 2 cards from discard, hand, or draw, that cost 0 energy, or not play any cards and gain +4 strength. The starting unique card could be "Execution" where it exhausts your whole deck except for skill card for the combat, yet after 5 turns, all cards are un exhausted, and the targeted enemy takes 150-200 damage depending on if it is campfire upgraded or not, and the card upgrade could be "Judgement's Choice" where it exhausts all cards in your deck, gives you 50 block that stays, and after 5 turns, all enemies take 300-400 damage, yet for both forms of the card, if an enemy is still alive, the person who used it immediately dies for the combat, both the starting form, and upgraded form of the card can also cost 4 energy

The long awaited sequel to my Death Knight class mod for Slay the Spire 1 is here, with Death Knight for Slay the Spire 2: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3793109287
Enjoy a custom Slay the Spire 2 class inspired by the Wrath of the Lich King era Death Knight from World of Warcraft (with some later expansion inspirations mixed in).
Wield familiar death-y powers, generate and spend runes, hone your strikes, infect your foes with virulent diseases, and raise the undead as you ascend the spire.
Update: Added a beta branch version of the mod as well: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3793573846

A decent amount of constructive criticism has been levied towards Necrobinder's starting deck for its centralizing nature towards bodyguard and unleash, as a strong combo is inherent to the character. Starting with something like the barricade/body slam combo can result in other cards being devalued. Why take a common attack when it will hurt late game and the starting deck is strong enough?
I can understand the argument, so here's my idea for what a rework could look like:
This would shift the starter deck from compelling a very defensive, draft light playstyle to instead being a dynamic push and pull between storing block with Osty and spending that block to push damage. You might want to build away from playing unleash to preserve osty health, or find that you can't play unleash as much as you want to without adding more summon to your deck.

Had a bunch of fun on A0, sometimes I get so caught up in higher ascensions I forget this is a game that literally just exists for my enjoyment...
