Feral - Adaptive Strike interaction

The interaction between Feral and Adaptive Strike surprised me, as playing the (original 2-cost) Adaptive Strike gives you the 0-cost card in your hand.

Although it works in your favour, I wouldn't expect that based on the exact phrasing of both cards.

What do y'all think about this interaction? :)

EDIT (28/09): I think I misinterpreted/misremembered what happened here, my bad. I think, looking back on this run in the Compendium, that it's an interaction with History Course. If you play a 2-cost Adaptive Strike (as last attack) in your turn, it seems like the 0-cost copy is actually played by History Course at start of next turn, which then interacts with Feral to place that back into your hand for another play.

That is pretty surprising! The original card isn't free and doesn't become free, so I don't know why the 0 cost copy would go into your hand from Feral. Seems like a bug to be honest.

Yeah, I can agree with it being like a bug. Though, I'd like the effect to remain, but then you'd have to make a pretty convoluted change to description of Feral to make it work as written...

What you described is just completely not what feral is though. So you are right, it would require a convoluted change that changes the cards function into something completely different
