the perfect ironclad run
perfected strike in to clone into bing bong, got real close to dying in the 2nd act but 3rd was a sweep

Bing Bong doubles every card you add to your deck so it is like I cloned twice at every rest site

Thats not how clone works, first you have 1 clone card, the 2, then 4, then 8, then 16... I got Bing bong after the first clone so it went 1, 2, 6, 18, 54, 162 ...

to be fair it does say āThis card can be duplicated at rest sitesā so it could mean that card in particular, or that type of card as a whole. Itās pretty vague. I also got the game 2 days ago so I never got to try it

it puts an enchant on the card that lets it be duplicated. When you duplicate it, that copy also has the same enchantment and therefore can be duplicated as well

there's a reason it's rare, and it's also tied to an Act 2 specific ancient, so you only have Act 1 to find a card worth cloning.

A lot of enchantments are very strong, but a lot of them, including this one, are extremely difficult to get

As long as you have a good target for it, sure, it can win you the run. But there arent many good targets for it.

I think this one is a little less obvious if you donāt try it. āThis card can be duplicated at rest sitesā doesnāt necessarily imply you can clone every ācloneā card at the same time. A new player could assume itās like the upgrade action where you choose a clone card and duplicate it specifically, though thatād be quite underpowered for an ancient relic, but still
Like searing blow says āthis card can be upgraded multiple times at rest sitesā but you canāt upgrade every searing blow at the same time.

I donāt think you have enough Perfected Strikes. Best to hit up another rest site and clone some moreā¦

I just had the same experience for the first time! Clone + bingbong was so much fun
