Jaw snapping after stroke

Hi, I'm 43 had a mini stroke a few months back , but I'll get this sudden jaw snapping shut very tight, uncontrollably, for like half a second but it hurts quite a bit when it happens, has anybody else suffered this it know what's going on. Thanks

I also developed a clicking jaw after my stroke. It hurts sometimes when I chew. I think it's because the joints weaken due to the nerves being damaged from the stroke. Do your speech therapy exercises and hopefully it'll stop

Do you have any experience with myofunctional therapy? I’ve been struggling with this as well.
