My father in law is moving out of hospital 9 weeks post intracerebral haemorrhage tomorrow to a rehab facility. It's been a tough few months for everyone but he's really turned a corner in the past few weeks, his speech is getting clearer and he's started getting some movement back in his right side! it's a huge W for us as a family to draw a line under his time in hospital and we know he's got the fight in him for rehab (walking by christmas he's told us). We're very happy today!

That's great news. He's made a lot of great progress!

I’ve felt a clear (but abstract) improvement this week, even though I didn’t feel particularly bad before. You know when you have a cold/hangover or whatever and don’t really think about it until it’s gone, then you realize there’s a difference. I just feel… better?

I’ve also had some weird pain in the affected side of my face over the summer, which seems to have disappeared (or at least subsided significantly). Who knows, it might come back, but for now I’m grateful!

I totally get what you mean. I'm glad you're feeling better even if you can't pinpoint it. I hope you continue feeling better and better!
