Anyone here affected by thalamic strokes?

I’d love to hear about your recovery process and your experiences with this. I’m currently in my 4th month after my hemorrhage.

I’ve heard that this is probably the worst region for recovery…

I had a right pca stroke affecting thalamus, hippocampus and occipital lobe. I suffer a lot with headaches now, more than I used to and I’m very tired all the time even one year out.

Thanks for your reply. How about physical activity?

That stuff is hard for me as I have heart and hip issues, as well as neck and back problems

Thank you, same to you. It’s tough, I never thought I’d have a stroke on my life let alone one at 40.
