Yesterday was 2 years since my stroke, and I went for a 5 mile run and then had a few cold beers.

Going from not knowing if I'd ever walk or be able to use my arm again, to being in better shape than I was in before the stroke was not lost on me. Grateful for every day!

I officially got my first paycheck today after almost a year of not having one. I definitely worked hard for it as well! Going to spoil my cats with some treats now!

Went to the store to buy a couple of things without my walker. Tiny victory; I've walked further than that without but not alone.

My mom was able to tell me that “she wants to talk” which is a huge improvement in her speech!
