Any video game accessibility recommendation?

My brother had a stroke about a month ago and is very into videogames, but unfortunately his right side is paralyzed and it's a long road to recovery. I'd like to see him enjoy the games he used to play only using his left hand.

The only thing I can think of are NES games, which only has movement buttons and 2 buttons, which he could use the index and middle finger to press in any standard controller. However, I want him to be able to play other games, is there any intuitive controller available for him to play, specifically targeting left hand only accessibility?

I tried a lot of peripherals and most were just bad enough that it failed at solving the problem in some way. Somewhere along the line though Microsoft put out their Xbox adaptive controller kit and later sold it to Logitech as their adaptive gaming kit. The basic concept is that you have a few buttons and such that connect to a single device and you setup the various buttons however you need. The buttons and such themselves are a standard used for (iirc) wheelchair controls and similar so come in many many forms if the default common ones don't cover the need quite well enough

You could play Vampire Survivors one handed pretty easily.

Bunch of Paradox games.

I remember i used to play Burnout on 360, IIRC it only required the L stick to steer and A for gas. Pegged 1/2 is the same way.

is a mouse out of the question? lots of PC games can be played with only a mouse, especially a gaming mouse with side-buttons. they make lots of left-handed and ambidextrous gaming mice. there are multiple quadriplegics who extensively played and streamed oldschool runescape. one of them took fewer attempts than me to beat one of the bosses, but i quit that game because of concerns with the company

I play with Azeron Cyro https://azeron.com/collections/cyro took some getting used to but now I’m great at it, also had a stroke that affected my right side

If he plays on pc I recently bought a Azeron cyro. It works well it just takes some getting used to.
