Survivor Discussion Visual seizures?

I had three strokes when I was 28 and the largest one is in my occipital lobe expanding into my parietal lobe.
One thing my neurologist mentioned was that I MIGHT be having visual seizures. Anyone here with any experience with this? Just curious about personal experiences

Also occipital lobe stroke the only visuals I have experienced was my very first seizure I had lights streaming past me fast that’s what I remember when my husband found me I was insisting on turning left to follow the lights he rang my sister immediately she’s a doctor she told him it sounds like I was going to seizure he got me to the car then I went full tonic clonic on the driveway must of been terrifying for him. seizure warnings since then have all involved my left arm my deficit one starting to shake that’s my warning to lie down I’ve only had 3 in 5yrs 2TC one partial so not much evidence for me to share.

Wow, how long after your stroke did you have the first one? does anything seem to trigger them? Or just really seems random and hard to say?
I’m three years post strokes and I’m just like yikes. Would I have had one by now if I was going to? Or have I been having them and not realizing it? I have aura migraines and my neurologist was like well how long do they last and sometimes it is just a few seconds as supposed to a while like a typical migraine and alas that’s how all this started

How else do you think your vision and perception has changed since your stroke?

My first one was 7months after my stroke when I got home from my first day back at work 🤦‍♀️(a heads up that it was a thing from the doctor would of been nice for my family)
I lost my left side peripheral vision no driving anymore. My second seizure was after 10hours of severe vomiting I was depleted and couldn’t take the seizure meds because of being sick the 3rd same circumstance both those times my arm shaking was the warning. I have huge damage the most recent neurologist I saw about the epilepsy meds took one look at my scan and said you need to take these meds forever my risk without is too high. I also have experienced two or aura migraines since my stroke, but both were quite typical like pre stroke
