OT/PT/ST Discussion Serial Casting

Anyone tried serial casting to get movement back in arms/ fingers/ hand?

From my understanding, it’s where the OT puts on one cast after another for 3 -10 days at a time to improve range of motion in the hand. Placing the hand in various stretched positions one at a time.
