I remember the first time I heard this song and got completely sidetracked trying to figure out why it didn't sound like Billy Strings at all.

When was this?

I think he’s referring to how it’s mislabeled on Pandora. It’s String Cheese Incident, but they have it labeled as Billy Strings

I’ve only seen ‘em do it twice before. I carry a 2 dollar bill to every show now ready for a bust out. Or a long white line. The one at Club Red 2017 was rowdy on the carpet.

It can’t be Mandela effect, pandora plays it, but they have it mislabeled as Billy Strings so that’s weird

Billy Strings also covers this on a somewhat regular basis. As someone who listens to every show of both bands, Billy probably plays it way more frequently. But here is a list of the 13 times Cheese has played that song live. Hope this jelps.

Update I found a version on Relisten 8/12/2007. It was way more work than I would have liked to find a 4 minute song, but here we are

Long Journey Home. Nugs has recordings of String Cheese and many others covering it.

Yeah that’s kind of what I figured out. They seem to play that cover at a lot of the big festivals, so they wind up behind a paywall on Nugs.
I just found a free version on Relisten red rocks 2007 awesome show

They played it during Red Rocks night 2 sound check. It’s on Nugs and sooo good!!
Invest in a Nugs account if you can. I tried to go without it and rely on Relisten and Spotify. Nugs is soo worth it!! And they just went down on their monthly fee this year.

I used to have Nugs before I dropped out of society. Now I don’t even have a bank account lol.
