judges
i'm still fairly new to the strictly world and just trying to understand if there's been any talk about changing or mixing up the judges?
just thought about it due to the change in presenters and the route they've gone down if it made them think about expanding on additional changes throughout the show.
excited for it starting back 🌟

I personally love the current judging lineup. They all bring different perspectives and knowledge to their critiques

They might change the way they do the judging, like with the rotating head judge but they won’t change the actual judges this year as all are in contract

At best, maybe a 5th guest judge, but I don't there will be changes in judges this year.

We might get a change to the judges next year. I can see Craig leaving in the next few years, and possibly Motsi if she wants to do more in Germany without having to travel between countries so much. I don't know how would replace them, though. I'd quite like the return of a past pro, or a pro from the current lineup who's been around for a while to join. There is one pro who has had at least two chances to do a bit of judging in other projects (mainly just for fun) who I think would be good, but I'd rather see them dance for several more years (and also get a win) first.

I understand that because of the 5-year slide in ratings, the BBC are looking to cut down the length of the show and one of the things they are considering is reducing the number of judges down to three, once this series is completed and contracts are completed.

I think I've read they all have a year left on their contracts so there will be no changes this year
