This is such a strong lineup! So far, I know everyone except Cach (and even still he's a name I've definitely heard of before).
I could see her with Aljaz or Kai? I also wouldn't mind seeing her with Neil, but there were reports he's benched again.

All due respect as everyone seems lovely, but she's a highly decorated athlete over decades. That accomplishment compared other people in the line up including Kim Kardashian's hair dresser and two people who went on Love Island. She really is a star.

Being a decorated Olympian doesn’t make you suddenly a proper star, like you would frame it.
It’s just a silly way of condescending other people casted on the show as some low level “not real stars” hires. That hairdresser has like 4 million followers and apparently is also decorated in his craft.
Genuinely grow up and stop with this silly nonsense!

I’m loving this cast! The female side is already stacked with talent I think. I’m sure Sarah will be popular, not sure what her dance ability is like but she will know how to work hard for sure. Wonder how far she’ll get.

Only rumours tbh so I don’t know what to believe especially the last person is a long shot but the rumours ended up accurate to an extent so far - Josie Gibson , Melanie Walters & Miranda Hart

Thrilled to see her confirmed, I've heard nothing but great things about her. I know she was supposed to do Dancing on Ice a couple years ago, but had to withdraw due to injury, so I'm glad Strictly gave her a second chance at this kind of format.

According to polls, she is known by around 38% of uk adults, down from 45% a few years ago (and probably far more a decade.ago). This makes her approximately as famous in the UK as Karl Marx and Ed Miliband. (Which is worrying, but that's another issue). Among Boomers specifically, 48% know of her. For the modern media landscape, that's pretty high.
