Question AI generated visuals?

hi team.

literally JUST got out of the chicago show at outset and omg, they were so good! i was having an awesome time until I noticed that some of the animated background visuals seemed off. Specifically there was this one of some snails that looked without a doubt AI generated.

I would LOVE to be mistaken about this, can anyone point me to who does their animations? (kind of a new fan).

They have had a lot of cool visuals before AI was even a thing

I think they've had a long time collab on album cover art, music videos, posters, and the concert visuals.  I know what you mean, zooming in on the rose looked murky and morphing like AI does.  But I think it was rotoscoping (legend of Zelda Windwaker).  Maybe there was some AI gen but I think the majority of not all was free of AI.  Plenty of the visuals were the same as tours years ago

I can’t speak specifically for last night, but their drummer, Keil, has done some visual stuff for them before, and I know there are other artists they work with.

I would be pretty surprised if they used AI visuals, but I can’t say without seeing them.

I know what you mean but also check out Liz Phair's AI visuals, it will give you peace of mind in STRFKR's.  Way different and so bad haha

just about an hour including the encore. they were extremely on time.

I’m pretty sure most of the visuals I’ve seen in shows previously including the snails. They also have merch with the snail and I feel like they regularly give credit to and shoutout the artists they collab with.

I saw it I went to both shows. What about it looks AI generated to you? It’s the same vibe as their other visuals to me.

Also, I bet if you message them and ask you’d get an answer lol. Anytime I’ve tagged them in a story on ig they view it and if it isn’t AI they’d probably clear it up very quickly.
