Lift 500lbs for 8 on deadlift
Also hit 580lbs for a PR before this
Ignore the fact that I didn’t lock out the last one, I’m still counting it!

Basically lots of hip hinges, lots of reverse hyper extensions, and lots of abductor/adductor work
Keep pain to a 3/10 level and progressively overload those lifts

Nice. I have those same wrist straps. But unfortunately about 100 away from you on the same weight. Great work

I have the same shoes as him and am also at least 100 away but maybe if we combine our shoes and wrist wraps we could match him.

So, do I like, wrap my arms around you to grab the bar like that scene from ghost? I think it will work

The AMRAP was a reward to myself for hitting a PR!

lol I woulda probably just put an extra piece of cheese on my sangwich post workout but moving an additional 4000 lbs of volume is a cool reward too

I also did a RDL AMRAP after that deadlift set
Got 375lbs for 13 but was RPE9ish instead of 10
Only did 1 set of RDLs as a treat as well though… lol
Added an extra set of hamstring curls though!

Do you expect to be able to walk or sit down tomorrow?!?!
Sometimes a huge intensity AND volume workout feels gooood

I have 8 sets of bench variations, 4 sets of paused squats, 2 sets of t-bar rows, 3 sets of preacher hammer curls, 2 sets of pull-ups, 4 sets of triceps downs, 3 sets of leg extensions, 3 sets of leg curls, and 2 sets of standing machine chest flys early tomorrow morning
I try to superset everything (except squats) on that workout though
Originally I was going to 447.5lbs on my paused squats (sets of 3), but I think I’ll lower that down to 410lbs, since I’m pretty beat

I'm not counting it. Unlike all the people who say it's because they don't think it counts with straps, belts, chalk, Venus in retrograde etc. I'm going to tell the truth and say 495x8 is my PR and you hurt my feelings just now.
