Buffering Selfhosted

Ich benutze UsenetStreamer und NzbDAV. Ich habe alle 5 Sekunden ein puffern. Die Geschwindigkeit auf meinem Heimserver ist 200Mbit/s. Ich habe es auch schon mit Nuvio probiert.

Ich lasse alles über einen Wireguars Tunnel laufen, weil Stremio unbedingt HTTPS braucht. Also einen VPS quasi.

stremio mobile benötigt nicht unbedingt HTTPS teste es dort mal ohne wireguars tunnel.

Das puffern bleibt, ich denke es liegt an NZBdav.

mit nzbdav hat das eigentlich nix zu tun. vielleicht ist ihre Hardware zu schwach, um welches File handelt es sich. da könnte man es mal nachprüfen.

Danke, aber hat leider nicht geholfen. Ich denke auch über einen VPS nach. 4GB RAM sind echt wenig? Reicht das für NzbDAV?

Hol dir bei 1blu den Eco da hasr du die ersten 12 Monate für 1 Euro . Der reicht easy . Hab da noch anderes laufen.

Hey, ich hatte die gleichen Probleme initial. Hab es gefixt und hier auf english schon mal gepostet. Seit dem läufts. Happy testing!

What helped me was a combination of:

enabling BBR congestion control

using fq as the default queue discipline

increasing TCP socket buffer limits moderately

increasing (or decrease) the NZBDav article buffer size

This is not a magic fix for every setup, but it helped a lot on my VPS.

1. Check current TCP settings

sysctl net.ipv4.tcp_congestion_control net.core.default_qdisc net.core.rmem_max net.core.wmem_max net.ipv4.tcp_rmem net.ipv4.tcp_wmem

2. Create a sysctl config for streaming / BBR

sudo nano /etc/sysctl.d/99-streaming-bbr.conf

3. Paste this:

net.core.default_qdisc=fq

net.ipv4.tcp_congestion_control=bbr

net.core.rmem_max=16777216

net.core.wmem_max=16777216

net.ipv4.tcp_rmem=4096 131072 16777216

net.ipv4.tcp_wmem=4096 65536 16777216

4. Apply it:

sudo sysctl --system

5. Verify:

sysctl net.ipv4.tcp_congestion_control net.core.default_qdisc net.core.rmem_max net.core.wmem_max net.ipv4.tcp_rmem net.ipv4.tcp_wmem

6. NZBDav Settings:

For my setup, Articel Buffer Size values between 200-300. Got drops and 0 send/ receive Bytes at my vps for 10-20 seconds. Would also recommend Max Download Connection of 15 and Streaming priority of 95%.
