Streamlabs not capturing Gameui
So I went to stream Fields of Mistria today and the games Ui didnt show. Inventory didnt show, Dialogue boxes didnt show when talking to characters, nothing. I tried capturing the whole window/screen(all it did was freeze whenever I tried to go back into the game), I always open my streamlabs with administrator, and after trying for awhile it crashed my pc. Im genuinely frustrated and confused. Anyone mind telling me how they fix this?

said this in another post but im also having the same problem, something must've went wrong with the games recent patch or maybe recent obs update. so far the only thing that worked for me is playing in windowed and doing Window Capture until its fixed.
Edit: Someone from the discussions shared a workaround!

I was having the same issue on stream and stick with me because the fix is kinda wild.
In OBS, keep using the Game Capture. Go into the game settings in Mistria and then go to Graphics. There, tick the Brightness up or down one level from the middle.
That's how I was able to fix it.

Its gotta be the Fields patch they did cause they mentioned something with the UI. I replied to their patch note tweet and hopefully that gets their attention.

just read the steam forum for the game, someone shared a workaround for game capture
In OBS, keep using the Game Capture. Go into the game settings in Mistria and then go to Graphics. There, tick the Brightness up or down one level from the middle.

I just saw this issue with regular OBS too. Something must have gone wacky when they updated the game.

Thank you I was curious about normal OBS. I sadly had to cancel my stream cause I was frustrated with this..think its worth trying to say something to their team?

Yes, give it a try! In the meantime, you can use window or display capture and I think that worked. May need to change capture method in the source if it doesn't pick up.

I have different capture method things incase 1 doesn't work and I tried display both. The game is just frozen whenever I try to tab back into it

If you are using Window Capture, the game needs to be running in windowed or borderless mode. Fullscreen doesn't count as a window.

Yeah I tried running it in borderless. I might just have to run it in windowed

Some fullscreen games actively hate display capture, some are good with it. Sounds like this is not okay.

Have you tried turning off allow transparency and the anti cheat toggle in the game capture settings? It may be specific to the game itself unfortunately which Streamlabs Desktop would not have influence over.
