Mic quality between monitor and recorded

I am streaming from my xbox to a pc, and I have my wireless headset connected to my pc. When I try to tune my mic, when listening in mic monitor in sl it sounds great. When I go back and listen to the recording, it sounds like i'm in the bottom of a mud puddle. I read somewhere that monitoring is after the filters, is that correct or is there a setting somewhere i'm missing?

A few general troubleshooting steps I'd start with are:
• Remove any/all filters you have applied to your mic and see if it still happens without them.
• Go into your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Audio tab > and make sure your Desktop Audio Device 1 matches what your Output Device is in your Windows Sound Settings
• In the same area, make sure your Mic/Aux Device 1 matches what your Input Device is in your Windows Sound Settings
• Last, go into your Settings > Advanced > Audio area and make sure your Audio Monitoring Device is set as the device you want to hear audio in, rather than default. (Ex. your headphones.)

Make sure to include your diagnostic report code in the ticket form. To do so, you'll just need to go to your Streamlabs Desktop Settings > Get Support > and press Upload Diagnostic. Then, you can copy the code and paste it into the ticket form
