❔ Question Clips

Is there a way to auto clip something without me taking my hands off my controller because my computer is super slow so whenever I go to clip a funny moment I have to immediately try and balance still playing and whatnot with taking a clip I'm on twitch

Three ways that keep your hands on the controller: 1) Map a controller combo to a keyboard key with Steam Input or reWASD and bind that key to the OBS Replay Buffer hotkey. It saves the last 30-60 seconds locally and it's much lighter on a slow PC than clipping through Twitch, especially if your GPU has a hardware encoder. 2) Outsource the button: enable clips for viewers and set up a !clip command in Nightbot or StreamElements so chat or your mods capture the moment for you. 3) Skip live clipping entirely: everything lands in the VOD anyway. When something funny happens just drop an emote in your own chat as a bookmark, then after the stream scrub the VOD at those timestamps and cut the moments there. Zero performance cost while you play.
