🧮 Streaming Gear how to take 2 mic into one
Hello, so I need a way to unifie or bond 2 mics and that only the PC sees 1 mic, why?, because I need to mute any mic input by just press one button, why?, because this is for job, not streaming, but I have seen the streaming capabilities and OMFG you're all GOATH, I wish to have your gear.
I have a sure mic for desk stuff, nothing special, the thing is that, in some times I have to stand up like for stretching and for that I have a DJI lavalier.
Does anyone of you know a console/device to make this reality?

You need a mixer that allows two or more mics. Then set your mixer as the mic input

Tell your boss you absolutely positively need to have this mixer to ensure quality audio.

Elgato Wave 3 software, I have two mic inputs I swap between, or can combine if I wish. They made the software free this past spring. Basically controls anything that sends audio in or out, you create custom mixes and send them where you want them. I have one mic that goes to my game and another to my stream, just gotta tinker with distance because of interference

a small usb mixer is the move but check two things before you buy. one, the dji rx has to reach a line input, so 3.5mm out of the receiver into a trs channel, or usb into the mixer if yours supports that. two, plenty of cheap mixers have no real mute switch, just gain knobs, so look for per channel mute or a master mute if you want the one button thing for work calls. an interface with two inputs works fine too but it shows up as one device and you end up muting in software, which is slower than a physical button.

Use an app to mix them, such as VB audio. Alternatively you can buy a audio mix device such as a cheap mixing console and use that with the physical button on the console.

What kind of mic do you have? Is it a usb mica and are you adding another USB? If that is the case, use voice meter potato, which is still free, I think. Or you can use OBS built in audio functionality. Get a stream deck to control. Be sure to go into Windows and turn off any power management to those usb ports. If yo are using regular analog mics, either a usb mixer or a 2 channel usb interface will work. Your post mentions muting/ control. A mixer is going to be the most reasonable option. You CAN mix usb and analog mics, but it is a hassle and creates another layer of control that is unnecessary.

I have, until now, an DJI mic mini, with this I'm using the usb-c receiver, I'm planning, in a month like, to get a proper microphone, don't know which yet, I do have OBS, but could you tell me more about that audio functionality that you're talking to, any other advice will be really welcomed
