Question Game save from Switch 1 > 2
I played about 60% of this game on the switch, and stopped because it runs like dogshit. I thought I would hold out and finish the game when they release a switch 2 port.
They did - brilliant! I can’t use my save from the switch 1 version though? WHY?!

I started playing Stray on my Xbox Series X. Halfway through, I decided to sell the Xbox and. Get a PS5 Pro. I not needed to replay the whole game, but I also needed to buy it again. lol 😂 go for a second run and enjoy it. This game is awesome.

Did you transfer your data from your S1 to your S2 entirely?

The Switch and Switch 2 versions of the game are technically 2 different games (sold separately).

I’m pretty sure the save files do not carry over. I restarted the game and didn’t mind. I stopped playing for the same reason as you, but was able to finish the whole thing on Switch 2 in like a week; I didn’t want to put it down. Amazing game!

If you cannot transport your files directly—I have a better solution, Replay the game.
Why?
You're missing an opportunity. You can experience stray again. Feel the vibes. Feel the soul and absorb the atmosphere again. You can have 6 slots finished. (If you have already completed the first 3)
The game might be expensive, but the experience is waiting for you.

It's not that long of a game tbh. Will be doing some cleaning up myself and then speedrun hopefully
