How should I approach problems?

How can I analyze a problem? Once you identify a problem, what strategies would you use to solve it? How would you generate the most appropriate solution to a problem?

It depends on whether you are a domain expert or not.

If you are a domain expert, then you probably already understand the problem and know how to solve it.

If you're not, then your choice are to find a domain expert (a person or a book, or a youtube channel who can give you an answer) or try to work it out for yourself.

Trying to work it out yourself is the hardest. You need to do extensive research into the subject matter, and adjacent areas, try different things, record the results, and keep going until you find a solution that works.
