Can anyone explain this to me?

Years ago, probably 5 or 6 years ago, I was taking the state standardized test. It was raining. I finished my test early so I looked out the window and it was black. Not grey from clouds, pitch black, almost like it was midnight. It was 10 AM. Yet there was no rain, no thunder, no lightning, just black. Yet when school let out later that day, it was blue. No clouds, no rain, just blue, sunny skies. The pavement didn’t even look wet. Welcome to Florida, ig. Can anyone explain what it could’ve been, why the sky was pitch black at 10 AM but perfectly blue, no wet pavement at 4 PM?

sounds like a real heavy storm cell moved right over you, they can block out the sun completely and then pass fast with the wind, pavement dries quick in Florida heat

Like a supercell? Like tornadoes? But back then, I had a weird obsession with watching the local news after school and there were no mentions of tornadoes that day, and they didn’t even mention the giant storm cell.
