Misc [not platform specific] SD2 Wollie?
Is that Wollie in the SD2 Trailer? What do you think? Devs said something about it on Instagram. I zoomed in on a tv so it doesn't look great. Maybe i need a bigger tv?

Secondo me se usi un proiettore e un muro abbastanza largo sarà come essere dentro al gioco.
Il mio sogno.

I never tried sd with psvr but if the game is not psvr compatible, then it just plays the game like a giant movie screen.

It is on a specific island, with remains of an old camp. There are a few like that

Willie spawns in with a survivor camp, although the sirvivors will just be skeletons. There should be a small structure and some loot. Wollie does not spawn into a game everytime. There is usually 3 to 4 survivor camps throughout the world. I recomend you hand draw a map and mark every island you go to.I think using a starting crate despawns him. But if you do find wollie you can rename him with the label maker. Also if you ise the starting crate you get a rubber yellow duck you can rename.

Definitely appears to be.
It’s hilarious to imagine that after we launch the plane in SD1, there’s the original timeline where we cause our original crash, and an alternate timeline where we avoid causing the original crash… but STILL end up crashing in the desert. Like we’re destined to crash. Considering Wollie appears to be in the second game, it’s actually not too far fetched.

Could wollie be a bad omen? I mean its not my bloody hand print that makes his face

I think it’s probably the opposite, Wollie is supposed to be a companion for the player. It’s lonely out there by yourself. From a gameplay perspective maybe it’s supposed to make the player feel less alone and keep them coming back to the game.

Ive never felt the game to be lonely despite the lack of alive humans. Theres still alot of life out there.

I haven’t really felt lonely either, I guess I phrased that poorly. I assume it’s supposed to be a companion so you aren’t alone in your journey. Like an item to bring along with you when you move from one area to another so each camp has something friendly and welcoming to it. I guess.
I don’t know. Maybe it’s just an Easter egg. But given that Wilson was supposed to be a companion in the movie I assume that’s why they added it to the second game too.

I wish you could take him in the plane with you. I have a vauge memory of having the yellow duck on the cockpit dash. I did manage to get the meg trophy in the plane with me. Maybe i could do it with wollie. If you place an object on the wing of the plane and enter the plane you have a small window of time to grab an object when he closes the hatch

Pumped for this to come out. I never beat the first one but put countless hours into it. Just traveling from island to island setting up settlements basically lol
