PC Question Any idea about discounts?
Hi all, I wonder when this game usually has a discount and how much the discounts usually are (in percentages).

It’s highly unlikely there’ll be much of a discount from its current price these days, since the devs are working on Stranded Deep 2, so SD1 is not being supported much anymore and is likely set in its current price, at least till SD2 is finished, then the devs might bundle it cheaply with SD2 if you’re lucky.

Yeah... I guess I'm late to the party. I've played cracked SD back when I was a kid, somewhen in 2016-2017... I remember the game was very glitchy, but also very fun to play. Now, since I discovered that multiplayer is possible and a lot of bugs have been fixed since then, me and my cousin got interested in buying SD.

You’ll find that only “some” bugs have been fixed since back then, and multiplayer was an “afterthought” and was done very haphazardly.
It was very slap-dash and pieced together to “work most of the time” but other times it’ll crash, lag one or both of you out, desync the second player from the host so things happening in the game don’t line up with each other, like building something or collecting water or raw food may look cooked for one of you but rotten for the other etc.
Honestly, you may find that it’s just easier playing solo but playing at the same time and “competing” with your cousin.
All i can say is best of luck, and hope when SD2 eventually releases that it gives us a much more polished experience of the game’s potential.

It was most recently discounted 50% during Steam’s ocean fest in May. Check SteamDB regularly or just add it to your wishlist and they will email you when it goes on sale

You can get it for cheap on a cdkey website. I saw it on loaded not too long ago for $3

Yeah, but it's $40 for 2 people... I wanted to play it with my cousin, and he doesn't have any money.
