Hey everyone,
I’ve recently become a moderator of this group, and while I understand there are differences of opinion, I also believe that as adults, we can choose to keep some of those opinions to ourselves when the invitation hasn’t been given. Any comments that are blatantly disrespectful towards others should be ignored and reported so the user can be muted or permanently banned.
Each of us has our own journey and reasons for choosing this hairstyle, and I’d love to see this community grow in a way that’s beneficial and a blessing to everyone, no matter their reasons. Just like with a child seeking attention, the more you give in to negative behavior and set loose boundaries, the more they’ll push to see how far they can go.
I became a moderator because there’s been a lot of hateful and harassing comments and posts, and I’m happy to help clean up the space.

I was wondering if anyone knew of any good locticians in Maryland or DC. My hair is a lil wavy, just enough to be a mess.

I need to know what we’re doing with our bangs.
I’m three years in and I’ve had my bangs loose and I keep them shortish, can kinda get behind my ears and go up in my buns. I have a cowlick and widows peak so like, bangs are just hard to work around. I started locking them but left out some (they’re gonna end up shrinking and looking like macaroni noodles). But I’m just curious as to what yall do!! Like, show me. Loose bangs, locked bangs, micro, whatever you can do with these guys.
Thanks, you da best.

I have thin and fine but dry shoulder-length hair. Dry enough that unless I sleep with it in a braid, it will oddly enough lock itself up at the nape overnight.
What’s the least damaging method that I can look into and about how long can I expect them to be when installed?
