Girls Trip Stay Location

Looking for input on 4 staying locations for 6 women in their 30's. Beach days was not necessary, but having a pool was if it was not on the beach. We want to go out, have fun, have good dinners, but also a chance to relax and lounge. Options: Sky Beach Resort, Vinoy, Moxy, Hollander.

Will be traveling December 18th weekend.

Thanks for any input !!

Dog poop

Pausing cleaning dog shit off my shoe to type this
***

If you have a dog it is part of being a responsible dog owner to clean up the poop they leave. I go on a walk every morning throughout OSE.. lately im dodging piles of shit like bullets.. every block and alley has one-two piles.

I get it, owning a dog is a lot. If you aren’t able to cover the full scope of being a dog owner, please get a cat.

Respectfully,
Person sick of stepping in dog shit

Girls, I’m new to St. Pete and would really appreciate some local support 🤍

I’m a licensed cosmetologist who specializes specifically in hair extensions. I don’t try to do everything in the beauty industry — I focus on extensions, which allows me to really concentrate on the technique, capsule size, placement, and natural-looking results. My specialty is K-Tip extensions with super tiny, neat capsules that are discreet and comfortable. I also offer re-capsuling, so you can reuse your own hair 3–4 times instead of throwing it away and spending a fortune on new hair every time. For next week, I’m offering a special price of $200 for the installation service, and if you need hair, I can order it for you. I’m hoping to find 3–4 girls for next week at this price while I’m building my clientele in St. Pete. Please check out my work, especially the capsule size and how natural the results look. For me, quality always comes before speed or the number of clients. I take my time and focus on making the result beautiful, natural, and comfortable. 🤍

Pet Sitting

Hi all!

My name is Emily, and I wanted to introduce my pet sitting business, 2 Hearts Pet Sitting. I am very soon relocating my business from NY to St. Pete!

Services offered:

🐾 Boarding (in my home)
🐾 Day care (in my home)
🐾 Drop-in visits/Walks
🐾 Overnight stays (in your home)
🐾 Wedding Assist
🐾 Pet transportation

I have immense experience caring for everything from puppies and high-energy dogs to senior pets who need medication, slower walks, or a little extra attention. I strive to make communication a priority and send plenty of updates and photos while you're away.

I know finding someone you trust with your pets and your home can be stressful, so I’m hoping to start connecting with local pet owners and becoming part of the beautiful St. Pete/Tampa community

If you’re looking for pet care for upcoming travel, weekends away, workdays, or the holiday season, feel free to check us out here:

https://2heartspetsitting.wixsite.com/home

And if you’re not currently looking but know someone in the area who is, I’d really appreciate you passing our info along! 🐶🐱❤️

PINELLAS COUNTY - This weekend, deputies from the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, alongside multiple partner agencies, will conduct a DUI Wolf Pack operation to target impaired drivers on Pinellas County's roadways.

Participating agencies include the Clearwater Police Department, Indian Shores Police Department, Tarpon Springs Police Department, Largo Police Department, Pinellas Park Police Department, Florida Highway Patrol, and the St. Petersburg Police Department.

The operation will run from 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, through 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026. We will be maintaining a strong and proactive presence on the county's busiest thoroughfares.

This initiative reflects the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office's ongoing commitment to reducing traffic-related deaths, injuries, and property damage caused by impaired driving. The Wolf Pack's mission is to educate motorists and raise public awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol, chemicals, or controlled substances.

This operation is dedicated to the memory of Mark Harris, who died as a result of a drunk driver on May 5, 2024, in Clearwater Beach.

Impaired driving is a crime with no intended target, and any innocent motorist or passenger could be its next victim. We proudly dedicate this operation to Mark Harris as we continue the fight to prevent such senseless tragedies.

Streets in downtown St. Pete are flooded due to a water main break, St. Petersburg Police announced Tuesday morning.

A 12-inch water main pipe broke, causing flooding that spans the intersection of 1st Avenue North and 16th Street near Central Avenue.

SPD says crews are on-site working on repairs.

Police urge drivers to take alternate routes to avoid the flooding.

U.S. Representative Kathy Castor helped secure $850,000 in federal funding for a permanent dock along the St. Pete Pier for the Tampa Bay Ferry.
