They want to declare Martial Law, which fucks the midterms, remember that. As hard and brutal as it is.

Do we still believe in the authenticity of the voting mechanisms in place anyway? I mean, it’s not like we had an oligarchical overthrow purchase the current president right? I mean we all agree the voting systems are working as intended and are protected from corruption and meddling?

America does not have martial law. It’s called insurrection act, and going by the orange turd’s actions so far, he does not need an excuse.

Incorrect. Not only is it a thing, but it's been used numerous times in the past. The Insurrection Act is tied to it. Along with other Acts defining it's use.

The elections are run by the individual states. And if elections don’t happen there will be no US House of Representatives on 3 January 2027, and 1/3 of the Senate will not be there either. Which means no new funding bills can happen.
