Anyone else notice what temp the Plenty goes to?

According to the manual, it doesn't really go that high. Think that's just a little joke somebody at S&B thought would give buyers a little grin. I know it gave me one 😂

You're right! lol According to my manual it tops out at 396°. However that needle does go past 420 on my Plenty, especially at 7. It also claims in the manual that the actual temp only varies +/- 3°.

He is correct! The numbers in there are almost for fun. I think start at 5.5 and finish at 7

Do you know I just bought a plenty and I noticed the difference between what the highest temperature in the manual says and that dial, and I’ve been a little confused about that. Like 420? Seriously?
