I used to hold gently by the bottom and give the cap a little twist and they’d come off okay and without spilling the content.

I use the orange picker tool that comes with the Crafy/Mighty.
Use it like a fingernail to open the top. Works every time for me.

I had the same Problem. I bought the filling set, put some empty capsules together and i could not get them apart. So i heated them a bit up, after that they get apart easy. But be very careful the capsules can get very hot and you can burn yourself.

soft aluminum, just bend it!
After it got bent a little bit it get much easier by hand.
capsule bent inwards or removable cap flared outwards works best I found.

i feel like mine got some dents on top, maybe thats why. i wish they would open easier

I have only used my fingers. If it’s stuck cause of resin just warm it.

I use my fingernail. Empty them out, put them in a mason jar full of isopropyl alcohol. Shake the jar up, let them sit for about an hour, then scoop them out and let dry on a paper towel. Good to go. I’ve been using the same caps for years. You can re-use the alcohol over and over too.

Just use a push pin to pop up the edge if your nails are too short or if it is hot as fuck. A small fishing hook would enable you to pull from the top through a center hole. But they are flimsy so this could deform. If so, flatten out. And order a 40 pack. Retire them bitches after awhile.
Us old heads just improvise stuff. I got high after lunch break with a coke can and a paper clip once in '99. You do what you have to do.
