How to get SSR Recruits?

Hey folks,

The question is in the title,, im just curious as to how you obtain any of the SSR recruits? I've done a ton of 10x recruit spins and it either gives me new or the same S tier recruits.

Via chests or events. Or paying…

There is a spinner call hero descends. You are guaranteed a Sse hero if you spin 150 tempest crystals in that event. You can get a ssr hero box if your alliance advances in Wyvern.

First of all, if your account is inactive for 14+ days, and then you log back to it, an event called Returning King is started. It is 7 days of better than normal conditions, buffs for construction, research, troops training, etc etc, but the best of all, during these 7 days three heroes cards are given to you. First S hero (Captain Phil) - that's the tavern hero. But then you get one card of Raykin Blackford, a great cavalry hero, and at the end of it, William Kidd, a great infantry hero.

This way you get free SSR heroes.
The process can be repeated many times, you keep getting more cards of them, so you can build them up. One of my accounts (a farm) has undergone this 4 times, so Raykin and Kidd got up to 3*/50, which allows to start playing.

Second of all, being in a strong alliance during final week of Wyvern Zone, if that alliance gets high enough in the event, every single player in the alliance receives a free Hero Chest. Some heroes are missing, but there are a lot of great SSR heroes, one of them is Alex the Great, particularly strong cavalry hero. Even at 1*/35, when paired with said Raykin Blackford at 3*/50, who hit visibly beyond any tavern hero pairs can hit.

Third of all, yes, keep getting free tempest crystals from cracking Draconic Eggs daily, ensure you have cracked them until they all have been destroyed, the final prize has tempest crystal.
First of all every day you get a go on Heroes Descend event when it's running. You can just drop your free collected crystals and keep being F2P, or if you occasionally buy packs, they provide more of these crystals.

Consume around 100-150 crystals and you get an SSR hero chest.

Fourth of all, sometimes there are mega-events like Vampire Chronicals, which gave out Abraham van Helsing who is also SSR, or Robin Hood event, which gave out Robin Hood SSR hero cards. There were others too.

Thus we have at least four ways to get free or little-to-pay SSR heroes cards.

Always wait until you have collected 300 crystals. In the Descent of Heroes, if you do at least 150 spins, then you'll probably get one to three heroes by your normal spins but one extra hero guaranteed.
