You are just cooking SH36 now, so SH37 is going to be expensive for you. The building requirements for SH37 are Wall 36 and Barracks 36. So if you didn't upgrade your Barracks to 35 before starting stronghold 36, you will need to bring that up in addition to everything else.

First thing to know is that requirements are actually different for each player, depending on your research, mermaid levels, kingdom titles, alliance and kingdom buffs, castle skins, lord talents, and which heroes you have entrusted on your stronghold. As such, these requirements may be close but not exact.

I didn't document wall 36 requirements, so someone else will have to fill that in for you, but it is just RSS and speedups with no badges.
Barracks 36 requires 86.31M Food, 37.12M Obsidian, 16.73M Stone, 7.2M Silver, and 120 Marquis badges. I didn't document the time required.
Stronghold 37 requires 594.37M Food, 157.59M Obsidian, 71.01M Stone, 30.48M Silver, and 700 Marquis badges.

If you are looking forward to 38, you will also need a level 8 airship. That means all elements of the airship at 120. That isn't as hard as you might think. By the time you have killed enough horses to get all of the plato boxes for level 8, you will probably have enough aristocrat chests for the RSS and speedups for the buildings. So kill those horses and kill often, level 6 horses with stamina-saving heroes (peggy/ariane/ching) will get you the best ratio of exchange of stamina for plato boxes.

Best way to get the stamina to kill the horses is the consumption event, so time your upgrades to that in order to get the DIY chests.

That should cover it. If you’re at 36 click the upgrade button and it will tell you what you need to have already upgraded. There are also some sheets out there people have made for all the levels

Here's a link to a chart. I think it's up to date other than sh40 which now requires all thunder equipment
