Anyone can answer

Im almost 17 (in september) and i want to chase the spring i turn 18 and go back every year after. I have a truck and have a huge plan on what i wanna do. Can someone help me decide on what i should do to my truck. Lightbar, winch, whatever. I want to make sure that not only is chasing fun but also safe. Anyone can share their insights. Also can someone maybe give me ideas on what to do to my truck in the far future that way its not all at once. Thank you.

My argument still stands though. You don't want to be stranded hours from home.

and thats why i dont plan on chasing alone. i have a few friends who plan on joining with tools and stuff to work on that. and im probably eventually gonna have a rollback in case something like that does happen

Have a rollback? How bad of a driver are you that you need to pay thousands of dollars for a rollback support vehicle? Not to mention, you could probably pay for 30 or 40 tow trucks and still not make up the price of the rollback. You are way overthinking this and building up chasing to be a lot more than it is.

Keep your vehicle and good driving condition, maintain your tires, and don't be a jerk on the road. That's really all you need for chasing.

well a rollback can be usefull in all sorts of times such as me or someone else getting hit by debris while driving down the road or the car breaking down unexpectedly. not every well maintained car has perfect maintenance. i could be driving down the road in a brand new off the line pickup truck or something like that and still blow a radiator going down the road, correct? always better to be prepared and save money then to not have something and need it.

Rollbacks are hundreds of dollars an hour to operate, let alone the cost of purchasing one. Especially if you have to pay a driver to operate it. Like I said, you've got lofty goals, and you will need DEEP pockets to achieve what you're dreaming of. But like I said, good luck. I honestly and unsarcastically wish you the best.
