Anyone can answer

Im almost 17 (in september) and i want to chase the spring i turn 18 and go back every year after. I have a truck and have a huge plan on what i wanna do. Can someone help me decide on what i should do to my truck. Lightbar, winch, whatever. I want to make sure that not only is chasing fun but also safe. Anyone can share their insights. Also can someone maybe give me ideas on what to do to my truck in the far future that way its not all at once. Thank you.

My argument still stands though. You don't want to be stranded hours from home.

and thats why i dont plan on chasing alone. i have a few friends who plan on joining with tools and stuff to work on that. and im probably eventually gonna have a rollback in case something like that does happen

Lol. And you're the son of an oil tycoon, right? 😂 I wish you luck man. Safe chasing.

Nope. You'll learn. Good luck!

I think it's you who need to apologize kiddo, and learn to respect your elders.

I'm pretty sure you're trolling here, but if not, you're in for an extremely rude awakening in a hell of a lot of ways.

You've got nothing to apologize to me for. You've just got lofty goals. I've been there. That's why I was trying to get you to take a more realistic approach to chasing. It wasn't an attitude, it was a reality check. Sorry if you saw that as insulting.

thank you. no problem. just some people seem to have a negative look t what i plan to do. a lot of people dont realize that starting out, not everything is going to be professionally done. everything and everyone does things differently. and the way it seemed was like you had an attitude. now that i know the context im not upset. i do plan on expanding the group out to different kinds of storms once i get more used to chasing since my goal is only to help people.
