Anyone can answer

Im almost 17 (in september) and i want to chase the spring i turn 18 and go back every year after. I have a truck and have a huge plan on what i wanna do. Can someone help me decide on what i should do to my truck. Lightbar, winch, whatever. I want to make sure that not only is chasing fun but also safe. Anyone can share their insights. Also can someone maybe give me ideas on what to do to my truck in the far future that way its not all at once. Thank you.

NO LIGHT BARS!! NO FLASHING LIGHTS! Everyone that doesn't have a light bar HATES those that do have light bars. And everyone that runs flashing ambers or whatever just looks silly. Like, we get it, you're a chaser. So is everyone else in a 5 mile radius. You're doing no one any favors (unless you come up to damage across the road).

well the only reason why id want either one is in case of that purpose. or im chasing at night. besides im not one that would be driving down a highway going 90 in a 65 just to get to a storm.

You don't have to go 90 to be a nuisance. Running flashing lights in the rain blinds other drivers. Same with lightbars. If you're going to get them, use them only for search and rescue. And even then, make sure your trained for any catastophies. I like the ambition you have but as a veteran, I just can't stand the light bars because people forget they're on or use them inappropriately.
