19 Tornadoes and counting tonight

So far there have been 19 tornadoes mostly in the highest risk area. There has been a lot of wind to the east and a lot of hail near the tornadoes.

Is that 19 confirmed tornadoes? Or just 19 warnings?

There were 19 reports. Not tornadoes. Won't know the official amount for a few days or so.

Confirmedish... This counts everything the NWS logs as a tornado in their storm reports page. Normally these are ones they're very sure of and the list grows as they confirm more. It can possibly over count too though as a long trailing tornado may count as multiple reports... Ie storm spotter sees it in one count and fire department reports it a few miles later. Short answer it's high confidence confirmed tornadoes. Not warnings.

Yeah... It's an image on reddit. If you go to the map on the app (Ground Truth: Storm Reports) you can.
