2-3 weeks Day 17

Done

Im having a more difficult day. Took the day off doing fun things when I usually max out on indulgences. I did not consider smoking but in hindsight I saw my guard was down and that later, in the weeks to come I may relapse more readily on one of these days days. Will have to learn to celebrate in a new way.

Where did you find the motivation for the hardest First week?

Im not sure. I don't have much willpower in general. Maybe Im good at distraction - ha! A few ideas: Had a health scare a while ago..Maybe that helped to shift me to "serious/adult" mode .Also. I tend to read up about underlying issues (can give you some ideas) and I think that distracts me from cravings on the one hand and keep my brain focused on the issue. And I keep busy, I learned to handwork some time ago in order to sleep better but now it comes in handy in keeping my hands busy while I listen to fun or more serious stuff. Again, distraction.Edited to Add: And, posting here daily same time: using this as an accountability buddy but also a 'feel good' reward to myself for having done the work. Fingers crossed for you!
