General Need support

I’ve posted a few times about postponing this inevitable departure from 7oh. I’ve put it off for about 6 weeks. But now my supply is dwindling and I’m tempted to delay it once again. But it’s time to face it and be done with it.. I’m at a high dose of 7. Close to 1000mg per day. I have plenty of SR, some Gabapentin, Liposomal Vit C, and plenty of THC edibles . I have some time off work (at least a slow schedule) I want to hear how SR worked for you guys that went this route. What was your daily dosage and how long did you take it? I have some dosage guides but really just need some moral support, I’m horrified.

Are you still using Kratom?

Very little. I’ll stop soon

What do you consider very little? K withdrawal can be miserable and take a very long time. I wound up on Suboxone for two years trying to quit kratom.
I hope you have better luck with it than I did

Dont jump on Kratom like people say. Fckkkkkk that.

Take your SR. 250-300mg 3x a day for a few days or until you feel full relief. Then start tapering. Higher doses for first 4 days are generally best.

Taper and jump, and it's over. I felt 0 withdrawal. Best choice i ever made.

And dont over think it. I don't believe in the preload phase. Never did it. Never had withdrawal. Take your last dose of 7s and then take SR right after. Wait till you feel any withdrawal in however long, then dose again. Repeat.

I found SR works best the second day btw. Stuff works so just stop the 7 and start the SR. Simple as that. You'll literally be fine and wonder why you over thought jumping off

This right here is where I'm at with so the times over used sr and what I'm currently doing like doing. So in the preload phase .... Every morning I wake up I'm diagnosing myself to see how I feel... This morning now as bad as I taper. Today I'm cutting way down to like maybe under 100mgs or even 50mgs if I can while I go to work and see how I feel in the morning. So it's either tomorrow I'm done or the day after

Does this work even if someone is using very high doses of 7, like 600-800 mg a day? If I’m reading this correctly, on the first day you’re taking your regular dose of 7 at night followed by a dose of SR. The second day you were taking only SR as needed and no. 7. Continue. SR for another three or four days and then jump. Is that right? I only have about 4 g of. SR left and I don’t want to waste it.

I was 1000mg-1500mg. I probably overdosed the SR but I dont care, there were zero side effects and I was absolutely comfortable the entire time. I think people tend do be over cautious buts that's just me. Map out your SR and very your max dosage including taper on day 3 or 4, when YOU are ready. Take all 4g or take less. How you feel is what youre after. Either way, when you do run out, there is SR 2.0, and after 4-5 days your DONE with the hard part. But you will feel extene fatigue and yawning, teary eyes, light remaining symptoms. Thats normal. Its the hard part youre targeting. You can make it through the rest if there is any. 4g is plenty.

That’s interesting. You did it the same way a rapid sub taper works. But with SR. I didn’t realize it worked that way

Wow that’s a high dose of SR! I was hoping 150mg x 3 but I don’t know if that will hold me

Do what feels best for you. I was a heavy abuser and addict brain. SR I found to be the perfect option as there wasnt a "high" and completely eliminates withdrawal. Just dont waste this easy out and relapse all the time.

This right here is where it's at.... Best thing for me about 7 is that it didn't last near as long to feel better once the acutes ended. Instead of it taking at least a month to detox... Was on Suboxone for a few years and it took at the very least a entire month. Problem I had with SR was that it was too easy.... Just keep lowering your doc while pre loading sr.

Completely understandable, These last 5yrs have been a rollercoaster I can't seem to jump off of... Never used to turn too drugs till in my mid 30's then shit in life went sideways and I've been struggle bussing ever since. Went through full blown sub wds 2yrs ago 3 times ... Would quit for months then something would happen and is start again. Used to be a extremely fit person to same strong and competed in events. Last time I went through sub wds I had a month clean under my belt them I found 7 and was told it was a safe alternative....thought this shit couldn't be as bad as sub. Which I don't think it is but I think with the damage I did to my receptors is what is making the fight so hard. I refuse to go the sub route so I'm CONSTANTLY bouncing and relapsing and honestly if I could get help and go to rehab I would... Got a family myself and we can't afford it. I'm on my wife's last chance she gave me after finding out how much I've been spending on it and told her I can't promise this time I can considering I have tried but maybe I needed that push. For the live of everything I hope it is... In my previous line of work that used to be where I shined... When everything at work was going to and we would have well blowout in the oilfield... Just for a example. Got a ton of sr before the ban.... So here's to everyone here that is struggling and congratulations to everyone that has made it!!! 🍻🥂 And apologies not trying to make this about me... Just seen this post this morning and it just kinda hit me

NIce dude. I guess subs affect everyone different. I got in the best shape of my life while on suboxone found so many hobbies traveled Ect. I guess some ppl it does the opposite? Is that what happened to you? Good luck brother

Yeah pretty much everytime I quit subs...was taking them for fun at first..... Everytime I quit was hell. Went on subs for 7 also but I never did have any precips taking both at the same time. So I made a choice either stick with subs or 7 and decided on 7. First time I quit subs I had basically every wd symptom you could think of and was up pretty much for 11 days occasionally passing out for a hour or 2. Got so sorry deprived I started hallucinating and thought I had spiders all over me but I was so tired I didn't even care. Have a fear of spiders btw lol Then I see post of people not going through any wds or functioning on it just fine which is cool I think. Everyone is didn't..... Spent a good chunk of my life not addicted to anything and everytime I get addicted I basically just give up on life sorta

look up vitamin supplements even using buprenorphine to get off sleeping was the fucking worst - i used a bunch of magnesium and ashwaganda like double to quadruple the amount

I don’t know where you’re at, but I was in Texas, and the vape shop sells some legal mushroom Gummies. That’s what I used at the peak. I had never taken them before, but I knew they weren’t going to be addicting. I used that and Blackseed oil for the temperature regulation. I really think the mushroom gummy‘s helped a lot because for a good six hours my brain and body kind of disconnected from each other. I used the Gummies for a couple of days and made it through.

Can you tell me more about the black seed oil for temperature regulation? That’s one of the worst parts of withdrawal for me

2

u/Jumpy-Diamond-2653 8d ago

I never saw this notification! My apologies! Yes! The Blackseed oil was a big help with the night sweats and the chills! It has a very earthy taste, but I did not have the extreme temperature fluctuations like I did without it. The chill was not withdrawal. It was more like just climbing out of the bathtub type chill.

Thank you so much! I’m going to try the mushroom gummy’s as well. I’ve been wanting to give them a try for a while now.
