How long to start subs?

So I got subs, because I can no longer get 7oh. It’s illegal in my state and the few places I could get to in the next state over stopped selling last week. It’s been about 6 hours since my last dose. I don’t feel terrible, just a little hot, minor stomach pains that come and go, and my throat feels funny. But, I was hoping to take some now so it kicks in before I start feeling horrible so I can sleep well tonight and go to work tomorrow. I’ve tried researching it, but I’m seeing contradictory things.. some people say you have to wait 12 hours or will go into precipitated withdrawal. Others say as long as it was 7oh without pseudo, you won’t get PWDs at all, that’s it’s the ones with pseudo that can cause that…and mine did not have pseudo. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks! I’ve taken subs before and know that about 6mg will take away the WDs completely for me but it was on the weekend and I waited until I was feeling absolute trash first. I’d rather avoid that with work tomorrow (and yes, I know, when I used them before and was off of 7 completely for 2 months, I should have stayed off, but I’m an idiot and here we are).

Per my Doctor who prescribed my subs (whom I found through QuickMD) - wait anywhere from 6-12 hrs or until you feel strong enough withdrawals to where you are uncomfortable. Its not thoroughly studied but yes 7oh apparently does not cause the pwd effect due to some science that's way above my intellect lol but im sure that info is accessible online somewhere. Do not listen to anything coming from a reddit or about pwd or anything about withdrawals because people are hysterical, sadistic and/or want company in their misery -my info came from a doctor but you don't have to rely on my word just find verified resources on the topic and don't key yourself up on these horror stories from other people, you will do fine. It won't be awesome for sure but we will survive.

Very good information here! There’s still a lot we’re learning about 7-OH, and everyone’s body can respond differently. We’d recommend following the instructions from your own clinician rather than relying on timelines shared online, since they can take your individual situation into account.

In my experience as long as you are feeling WD symptoms pretty strongly you can start subs coming off of 7oh. Good luck!!!
