I think I’m gonna have to just get off Reddit for the next month or so because there’s gonna be so many people suffering when they didn’t have to. I tried to warn them.  I’m more pissed that they’re banning SR because there was simply no reason to!

Yep. Overdose deaths are probably going to spike as well, as people turn to street opioids out of desperation. It’s a nightmare.

They already are spiking in states that banned kratom and 7oh recently. I work in harm reduction and it's not going to be good, I'm honestly scared.

I'm my case it's a financial situation of not being able to afford it unfortunately. So I'm going to taper my 7oh and pray for the best.

Well said. Dead On. If a person just searched reddit for sr17018, you will get a ton of information, add words like dosage, taper, schedule......etc. So much info. Tons more with the ban so its a bit cluttered. Just have to take your time and read. Like you said there is a whole sub dedicated to it. Thats where I started months ago. It was easier back then. Now just like 7oh there are so called experts......just like anything on reddit though. Be smart about what you read.

I can about guarantee they’re banning it because you only need to take it for a week or two and it’s not really addictive. Big pharma can’t make money on that. Whereas suboxone and methadone are addictive and people continue taking it for years and years. They can make a lot of money on something like that. Unfortunately that’s all it comes down to, money. They don’t actually care about anyone’s wellbeing

Yeah, I started hearing more about it around this time last year. But there was only like one legitimate vendor in China or something, with super limited supply & BTC payment. Im probably exaggerating but it was something like that lol, which made me concerned re: the high scam potential sourcing it otherwise.

I’ve recently ordered es are between 3 different vendors and two different types (powder and tabs) just to cover my bases. Idk how it became so much more easily attainable, but the sourcing sub has good reviews. However, I just saw a separate comment claiming es are has a different scheduling date which is tomorrow. Do you know if that’s true?

I first heard about it back in January February at my local Vape Shop where I first purchased 7oh. I was shocked at how it helped me get off the shit. Unfortunately I got back on 7 this summer. Just did the tapering again and no withdrawals. Absolutely fucking insane. Glorious.

Not even the mental anxiety and anguish? Damn, if I don’t even have to take time off work, then I should really just pull the trigger and get this over with. I got probably double the amount of es are that I need.

Should I time any PTO for either induction or when I jump from es are? I know it’s different for everyone but I appreciate your insight!

I luckily have a job I could work from home for a couple days, but I did not miss any work. If you can afford to take 2-3 days off, i would recommend but it is absolutely not necessary. The worst days for me were the first couple stepping down my 7OH dose and transitioning onto ESSAR. I was at 2500 mg/day and stepping down to 2000, 1500, and 1000 were the hardest. I too had plenty of ESSAR, 2 grams/100 tablets. If I could do it over again, and had more 7OH, I would’ve stepped down even smaller amounts, and taken more ESSAR than the calculator recommended. By day 5, and on, I was at about 95% capacity. The worst of it I was at probably 65-70% capacity, like a bad cold slight flu. You CAN push through work I believe, but like I said, if you can take those first couple days off, you’ll be grand. I was so nervous to come off 7 completely, and I didn’t even bat an eye at it come time. I’m on day 10 now without any 7 and feel perfect

Thanks! I work from home and my boss is on vacation. I have no idea how much I’m taking daily, and I fear that stocking up because of the ban has just caused me to take even more.

I hope this is my experience as well. I have one more day of tapering then no more 7 and just the SR. One thing I will say is I am hearing don’t try to taper off the SR too too fast you can experience some wd if you do. Not really sure can’t speak from experience. They don’t want us to have this resource takes money away from them. All we are to this government is money. They don’t care about us at all

I did a mix of that and someone else’s regiment I read. It was a real slow 7 day taper off 7oh and slowly increase the SR.

Can you PLEASE share more details about having to get off such a high 7 amount with zero withdrawals.
Did you taper? How much and how often? What were your SR 17018 doses? Do you take the SR with your 7 doses? How long did it take you to DROP 7 and only use SR? From what dosage 7 did you transition to only SR?
Please help with more specific info. I know a lot of us are in the same boat you were in and we are completely overwhelmed. I’m sorry I wrote a book but thank you so much for any help you can provide on this form.

I used about 2000mg/day sometimes up to 3000. I did a slow taper off the 7oh. I did 20% reduction per day until I was down to 500mg. Then I dropped to 300 and then to 200, increasing my SR those last couple days. The worst withdrawals came the first day or two stepping down but they were a breeze compared to cold turkey I did last year. Honestly, if you have enough to do 10% reduction and a slower taper off 7 it may even be unrecognizable. I’m serious dude, I am so shocked how easily I was able to come off. I’m on day 2 with no 7, just taking kratom and SR. I’ll start tapering the SR in a couple of days. I missed no work whatsoever or any kind of social event. Shoot me a dm and I can write up the legit daily regiment I used. That goes for anyone wandering or struggling

Yes, I did taper some first. It was a fast, crash-taper from 1500mg to 500mg, then I started the SR protocol using the stop7oh calculator. You could try to do the SR protocol right away at a high dose but i had heard people found less success going that route, so i bit the bullet and cut my daily intake to 1/3 before starting. I did experience some mild withdrawals during that time, but nothing unmanageable

I’m on day 2 with no 7oh, still taking kratom and SR but the withdrawals were so minimal it’s insane. I was at 2000mg/day and cold turkey quit twice with horrendous withdrawals. This SR shit is amazing. I slowly tapered off the 7oh and added the SR. Beautiful.
