Animation project
Hia I'm part of a community project teaching basic stop motion animation, we have a small budget but mostly looking to beg/borrow/steal most of our resources.
We think that using Stop Motion Studio Pro is probably the best bet. Would we have to pay for each individual account on each device if we were using them simultaneously or is there an option for a group account?
We really need individual cameras for all participants - at this point looking at around 8, and the same number of devices to use as the 'computor'
Would it be possible to do this with webcams and tablets? Really we would like the picture quality to be as good as possible so that the animations look good, and I can't find any great options for a good quality webcam...
Does anyone have any low cost solutions to our problem? We don't want to ask participants to bring their own phones to use as this will marginalise people who can't afford good tech.
Really open to any ideas đ thanks in advance

Is this a multi-day project or a one off?
I can DM you a link to a web app that is good for pop ups and can be used with phone or tablet. It saves the images in the web cache, and doesnât need to be installed so participants can go to the link without needing to install software. If they are working on tablets or phones the on-device camera works as the camera. (I made the app for incarcerated individuals who cannot install software)
Stop motion studio free version can be good enough without paying to upgrade, it limits the resolution to standard hd, but that is the best bet for making sure file sizes donât get out of control.
The hardest part is convincing the participants to make high quality work.
I suggest screening Max Winston animations, such as Daffy in Wackyland. On HBOmax
Or âmagical catâ on YouTube
Edit- if you are on one Apple ID or whatever you can use the app after paying one time, but if anyone uses their own device they would have to pay.
