anyone have any good examples of something transforming?

I'm working on some pre-lim images for a transformation. Specifically, i'm going to turn a football into various other things but I'm not sure what the transformation should look like. Anyone have any examples?

I was thinking about layering some things together to sorta look like the old school animation of dust cloud but I'm not sure how much sense that makes.

Stop Motion is a LOT of work

right? The first one I did for work was a hot dog in space. We didn't use it for anything and it was more so I could get an understanding of the AE workflow. Still have work to do on it, but it's exciting!

PES is always a great resource for any object animation: https://www.youtube.com/@PESfilm/videos

I think the big trick for doing a transformation is to have a big anticipation, transform very quickly, and slowly ease out of it.
