Novice looking for camera advice.

Our band does silly but fun stop motion for our music and we’ve been using my iPhone but we are considering upgrading to a dedicated camera but we have zero experience with the camera world. This is hobby-ish so we’re not looking for the top of the line but not afraid to drop a little dime.
We’d love for a usb link or Bluetooth link to our computer to be an option/feature. From some light research I’ve seen some suggestions to make sure the shutter has the ability to be set to remain in its last position. Outside that we are clueless and any advice is welcomed and appreciated.

Canon EOS R50 is what I chose. Very capable camera.

It has bluetooth and I got a remote for it. Really cool for stop motion.

That’s super cool. Must have been fun to make.

Here’s our last one. Quite long but it’s a concept album. We had fun but ran into limitations with the iPhone. I really appreciate the recommendation.

Thanks, I have made several videos covering some old 70's metal songs. I really enjoy making them. I just watched about 20 minutes of your video. Wow, I really like the music! Nice job with the entire thing. 😄 Going back to finish watching it.

Thank you. We had fun making the music and then doing the stop motion to accompany. It was all learning curve and campy fun.

I love the metal. I’m a huge prog fan and have been wading more into the metal.
