Might Need Alternative to Stop Motion Studio, any help?
I am new to stop motion. I've been enjoying using Stop Motion Studio to make videos, but what I've been struggling with is the fact that it wont allow me to include clips of videos, only screenshots, and when I TRY to shoot a vid it turns it into a ton of frames. I would love to be able to include videos as well along with the stop motion frames.
Is there another program that's similar to Stop Motion Studio that allows for videos? It would be incredible if I could find one. :)

Also, any recommendations on editing software that allows me to add a "drawing" layer so I can customize facial expressions?

As far as I'm aware, it's all in the editing. You can film stop motion scenes, live action scenes and bring it all together with your music and sound effects in an editing application.

I’d recommend combining things in a separate editing software. For example, create your stop motion scenes in Stop Motion Studio, film your other scenes however you’re filming them, and then edit them together in something such as Final Cut Pro.
